Mother Of 5 Young Children Killed In Rt 30 Crash A mother of five was killed in a crash along Route 30 on Monday, according to police. A tractor-trailer and a 2020 Ford Escape collided in 2900 block of Lincoln Highway East/Route 30 around 7:40 a.m., according to East Lampeter Township police. For an unknown reason the Ford Escape, which was heading westbound, crossed over into the opposing lane-- striking an eastbound white 2001 Volvo VNL truck tractor pulling a trailer, according to an updated release by police. One Dead In Multi-Vehicle Route 30 Crash: Authorities One person was killed in a multiple vehicle crash on Route 30 in eastern Lancaster County on Monday morning, WGAL news 8 said citing authorities. The fatal crash involved a tractor-trailer and at least one other vehicle, closing the street between Ronks and Leacock roads in East Lampeter Township shortly after the crash just after 7:40 a.m. They remained closed more than three hours later, according to the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation.
