NWS Extends Flood Watch, Wind Advisories In These Pennsylvania Counties
As heavy rain moves out of Pennsylvania, the National Weather Service has extended flood watches and wind advisories for several Pennsylvania counties. What began on Tuesday is expected to continue, this means high wind speeds are expected to blow at 20 to 25 mph in the advisory zones. The stronger wind gusts could blow down tree limbs and some power lines. Scattered power outages are possible, according to NWS. Tracking Weekend Snow, Mid-Week Rain Storms Both Heading Toward Northeast
Parts of the region will be shoveling out of several inches of snow from the weekend when another strong storm system moves in, forecasters are saying. The main threat from a significant storm on track for the region will be dangerous wind gusts that could cause power outages. The system will move in from the Midwest on Wednesday, Nov. 30. Two people have died as of Thursday afternoon as a result of Wednesday night's storm in the Philadelphia region, reports say. That number is expected to rise. Authorities told 6abc a woman was killed after a tree came down on a home in Upper Dublin Township (Montgomery County). Her identity was not released. Downtown Lititz Loses Power When Truck Slams Into Pole
A truck slammed into a pole in downtown Lititz, Lancaster County on Wednesday morning causing power outages in the area, according to Lititz police. The accident happened in the 1st block of South Broad Street. The area between South Broad, Main and Orange streets has been closed and "will be for quite awhile, please avoid the area," say local police. The truck also hit a car when it veered off the road. Minor injuries were reported by both drivers. No pedestrians were in the area when the crash occurred. It is unknown what caused the crash.

A 21-year-old Pennsylvania man died last week after his home in Monroe County became filled with extreme levels of carbon monoxide, authorities said. Troopers responding to a home in the 100 block of Murry Hill Road in Middle Smithfield Township on July 7 found an unresponsive man in the bedroom, according to Pennsylvania State Police.
