Deadly Crosswalk Hit-Run In Harrisburg, Police Say A hit-and-run driver struck a man dead in Harrisburg on Sunday, according to the police.  The man was struck in the crosswalk near North 6th and Radnor streets around 2 a.m. on Sept. 3, according to the Harrisburg police.  When the police arrived and found the dead man they immediately began an investigation.  "The striking vehicle had originally fled the scene but was later located by police," as stated in the release. Amtrak Train Strikes Pedestrian Dead In Central PA: Dispatch One person has died after they were hit by a train in central Pennsylvania, according to emergency dispatchers. Emergency crews were called to a crash involving an Amtrak main line train near Dillerville Road in Lancaster around 8:40 p.m. on Thursday, June 9, a Lancaster County Wide Communications supervisor says. The pedestrian died at the scene of the crash, according to LCWC. No train derailment was reported. Police continue to investigate this crash.m
