A 40-year-old registered sex offender has admitted to raping his ex-girlfriend and her daughter before killing the 12-year-old and hiding her body in a freezer, the Lancaster County District Attorney's Office announced on Friday, March. 1.
Jason Shackelford, of the 500 block of Avenue H in Columbia, PA, "admitted guilt on charges of first-degree murder, rape of a child, two counts of rape, three counts of involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, four counts of sexual assault, and strangulation," the DA stated in the release.
