Newville Dad Charged With Murder Of First Baby Born At Penn State Hampden: Authorities The first baby who was born at Penn State Health Hampden Medical Center has died and his father has been charged with his murder, Pennsylvania State Police announced on Tuesday, May 9, 2023.  Avery Sampson was 8 lbs and 12 ounces when he was born to Kathryn "Kat" Durham and Timothy "Tim" Lloyd Sampson at the Hampden Medical Center in Enola at 9:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 1, 2021, according to Penn State Health News.
