Witnesses Sought After Serious I-81 Crash At Ramp In Central PA (Update) Police activity shuttered a ramp along Interstate 81 in Central Pennsylvania on Saturday night and now officers are searching for witnesses.   The ramp closure was first announced by Carlisle Police at 5:58 p.m. on Dec. 30, but on Wednesday, Jan. 3, the police said the crash really happened around 4:45 p.m. A two-vehicle caused the initial closure at Walnut Bottom Road and I-81 Exit 45:College Street off-ramp in Carlisle Borough, according to Carlisle PD. Carlisle Man Crushed To Death By Tractor: Coroner An antique tractor crushed a Carlisle man to death on Saturday, authorities announced on Monday, July 17, 2023.  Richard Anderson had rebuilt the antique tractor indoors, washed it, and pulled it outside in the 2600 Block of Walnut Bottom Road Penn Township, Carlisle on July 15, the coroner's release detailed.   The 71-year-old turned the front crank to start it but the brakes failed— so it propelled forward "pinning him underneath," Cumberland County Coroner Charles Hall said.  Anderson was pronounced dead at the scene of multiple traumatic injuries and his death …
