A 34-year-old Virginia man is facing charges in Pennsylvania for chatting with juveniles online and soliciting explicit images from them, authorities said. The tips regarding Jesse Abercrombie, of Stafford, came in to the Stafford County Sheriff's Computer Crime Unit in October 2023, Sheriff David Decatur said. A 14-year-old girl was sexually assaulted at a park, police say. 36-year-old Joseph Ray Harding has been arrested following an investigation into the assault on the girl at Ruins Park, 30 Enterprise Street, Glen Rock on Sunday, Nov. 6. "The victim and offender did not know each other prior to the assault," the Southern York Regional police say. Central PA Fire Chief Admits To Sexually Assaulting Teenage Volunteer In Text Message: Police
A central Pennsylvania fire chief allegedly sexually assault a 16-year-old who was volunteering with the fire department, police say. Clay Township Fire Chief, Donald E. Moyer, 52, of the 500 block of Hopeland Road, Stevens, PA, supposedly touched "the buttocks and back lower torso and pubic region," of the teenager following a training session at the fire station on June, 14, according to the police release. A 42-year-old man who was charged with raping a child in Pennsylvania was originally arrested on the run from authorities in Alabama, only to have another warrant issued for his arrest in Pennsylvania, according to court documents. Bad Babysitter Arrested For Touch Teen in Camp Hill
A Cumberland County man has been arrested for sexually assaulting a young teen he babysat. Harry Ruppert, 67, of 1100 block Rana Villa Avenue in Camp Hill, has been arrested in connection with a complaint filed by a 14-year-old. The girl told authorities on April 5 that she was touched inappropriately while being babysat several years ago. An investigation determined Ruppert to be the suspected babysitter.
