Officer Heading To Scene Struck — Lights, Sirens Were On, Police Say A police vehicle had light and sirens engaged when it was struck on Tuesday morning, the Susquehanna Regional Police Department announced that same afternoon.  The officer was heading to assist a fellow patrolman when he was struck at 1195 River Road at the intersection with Route 772 East Donegal Township, the department detailed in the release. It happened at 11:22 a.m. on Feb. 20.  No injuries were reported.  The Pennsylvania State Police is investigating the crash.

Female Fisherman Dies After Boat Capsizes In Susquehanna River A female fisherman died after the boat she was on capsized in the Susquehanna River Friday night, authorities said. The boat's occupants, all from Duncannon, were fishing near the York Haven Hydro Station when the vessel capsized near 111 Collins Road in Conoy Township just after 8:50 p.m., Susquehanna Regional Police Department said.
