Jehovah's Witnesses Caught Sexually Abusing More PA Children, Prosecutors Say
Five men are accused of sexually abusing children in Pennsylvania, says the state Attorney General's Office. All five suspects and their alleged victims are members of Jehovah's Witnesses congregations, AG Michelle Henry said in a release dated Friday, July 7. New Jersey authorities have dropped a case against a correctional police officer who'd been accused of hiding his membership in two outlaw motorcycle gangs. Ruben Morales, who worked at the state prison in Newark, had also been accused of hiding a food truck business he worked on the side. A North Philadelphia landlord was found in contempt of court Wednesday for locking more than a dozen tenants out of their homes this week, despite a court order that they be allowed back inside, all while he vacationed in the Caribbean, The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.
