An unmarked box of coloring books led the Lancaster Public Library to cancel a story hour scheduled for Saturday with a "professional drag entertainer" city officials told Daily Voice. PA College Baseball Player Dies After Dugout Collapses: Authorities
A 19-year-old college baseball player has died after an illegally built dugout seriously injured him, authorities told Daily Voice. Angel Mecardo-Ocasio of Harrisburg was hurt when the dugout collapsed on him at 7th and Radnor Sports Park in Harrisburg around 3 p.m. on Monday, May 22, 2023, according to City of Harrisburg Communications Director Matt Maisel. About 350,000 units of a brand of heating blankets and pads are being recalled due to a fire hazard, the Consumer Product Safety Commission announced. Bedshe International said it issued the recall for Bedsure Electric Heating Blankets and Pads Due because the controller can malfunction, posing fire and thermal burn hazards.
