Philadelphia native and AMC CEO Adam Aron says he was the victim of an "elaborate criminal extortion" scheme last year, he announced Thursday morning, Oct. 12, in a social media post. Aron made the revelation after Semafor reported that the CEO had sent "sexually explicit images and messages" to a woman who later tried to hold them as blackmail.
