$12K+ Raised By PA Turnpike Commission Employees For Family Of Coworker Killed In Crash On I-83 A fundraiser has raised over $12,000 dollars to help the family of a Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission employee killed in one of three crashes on Interstate 83 on Tuesday morning.  Sean A. Laudenslager, 41, of Dalmatia was driving his 2018 Ford Focus in the left lane of I-83 Southbound at mile marker 49 in Lower Paxton Township when he struck the rear of a tractor-trailer on Oct. 17, according to the Pennsylvania State Police.  Randall S. Woman ID'd 35 Years After PA Turnpike Crash: State Police A 26-year-old western Pennsylvania woman has been identified 35 years after she died at the scene of a tractor-trailer collision on the state turnpike, authorities say.  Linda Jean McClure, of Indiana, PA was a passenger in a tractor-trailer truck that slammed into the fuel tank of another tractor-trailer at mile marker 119.4 in the eastbound lanes of the PA Turnpike in Somerset County on Oct. 22, 1987, the state police announced on Jan. 24, 2023.  McClure, and the driver of the tractor-trailer she was riding in, died after the cab of the tractor caught fire, according to the rele…

Duvany Zambrano, 43, of Hamilton, NJ, and Sergio Jara, 37, of Allentown, PA, colluded with other unidentified co-conspirators to buy up thousands of the devices from retailers in both states, an FBI investigation found. Goat Causes Temporary Closure Of Pennsylvania Turnpike In Harrisburg It’s not April Fool’s Day and it was not a hitchhiker you may have seen on the turnpike, it really was a goat. The goat was spotted near the shoulder of the Pennsylvania Turnpike in Harrisburg near mile marker 247.1 on Wednesday around 7:15 a.m., according to both the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation and the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission. Traffic along the turnpike was temporarily stopped in the area for about 45 minutes, the road has since reopened according to the PA Turnpike Commission.
