Victim Hospitalized Following Hit-Run In Central Pennsylvania: Police
A criminal investigation is ongoing following a hit-and-run in Central Pennsylvania, police announced on Monday, June 10. Officers with the Lower Paxton Township Bureau of Police were called to a report of a hit and run crash involving a pedestrian the 500 block of South Arlington Avenue on Sunday, May 26, 2024. Arriving officers found the victim and gave them medical aid until they were taken to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Pedestrian Struck In Central PA: Police
A pedestrian was struck in central Pennsylvania on Thursday, Apr. 7, police say. The pedestrian was hit crossing where there was no crosswalk— even though there are nearby crossing— in the area of 478 Fifth Avenue in Chambersburg, police determined through an investigation. The SUV driver who struck them stayed on the scene, according to the police. The pedestrian suffered moderate injuries and was taken to Chambersburg Hospital, police say. The road was closed for several hours due to this incident.

Pedestrian Struck Dead Outside Central PA Medical Center
A pedestrian was hit by a medical clinic and an airport on Monday evening, according to the police. The person was hit by an eastbound passenger vehicle traveling along Route 230 West Harrisburg Pike at the intersection of Rosedale Avenue in Lower Swatara Township, according to the release. "Efforts to revive the struck pedestrian were unsuccessful," police stated in the release.
