Multi-Vehicle Crash Leaves 1 Unconscious On PA 581 In Camp Hill: PennDOT A multiple-vehicle crash temporarily closed PA 581 in Central Pennsylvania on Thursday, Pennsylvania Department of Transportation spokesperson Fritzi Schreffler told Daily Voice.  The crash involving three passenger vehicles happened at mile marker 3.9 on PA 581 West shortly after 11 a.m. on Nov. 9, Schreffler detailed. Initially, all westbound lanes were closed between Exit 3: US 11 South - Carlisle Pike and Exit 5: US 15 South - US 11/15 North Gettysburg or Camp Hill. Multi-Vehicle Crash Partially Closes PA 581 A crash along 581 has slowed traffic to a stand still for miles, even closing the highway in some areas, according to the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation. A multi-vehicle crash was reported on PA 581 westbound, starting at Exit 3 US 11- Carlisle Pike on Friday just before 8 a.m. The crashed closed all westbound lanes, and traffic was being redirected by crews on the scene. Traffic slowed to a near stand still for three exits for over an hour. No word on any injuries or the number of vehicles involved has been released. Follow Daily Voice for updates.
