Hotboxing Teen Drives Car On PA Highway With Stoned Woman Police Say A woman and a teenager hotboxed, or smoked marijuana in a car, and then the unlicensed teen drove on the highway and on main streets in Wormsleyburg, police say.  The teen committed a traffic violation on the Harvey Taylor Bypass and North Front Street, Wormleysburg on Valentine's Day just after 1 a.m., according to the East Pennsboro Township police.  The 24-year-old passenger, Miranda Joy Remata of Fayetteville, had allowed the 15-year-old to smoke and then drive the vehicle, according to the police.  Marijuana was also found on Remata, who had also been smoking, acco…

PA Man Steals, Crashes Car On New Year's Day: Police A man has been arrested for stealing and crashing a car on New Year's Day in Central Pennsylvania, according to a release by police. West Shore Regional police were called to a vehicle theft in the 900 block of North Front Street in Wormleysburg on Sat., Jan. 1, at 12 p.m., according to the release. Through an investigation, police learned that Vaughn Marshall Crane, 28, "stole the victim's vehicle, was involved in a motor vehicle crash, and then abandoned the vehicle," as stated by police. West Shore PD: Woman Arrested For Lying About Assault A Cumberland County woman has been arrested for lying about an assault, according to West Shore Regional Police. Michele Lynn Peters, 27, claimed she was assaulted in 800 Block of North Front Street in Wormleysburg on Friday, authorities said. Investigators discovered she provided false information in her report of the supposed assault. Peters was arrested on Sunday and resides in Cumberland County Prison pending criminal charges. Peters previously has served time after being picked up on a warrant for theft and pleading guilty, serving 15 days in prison, the minimum sentence.
