Child Assaulted By 77-Year-Old Mount Joy Man, Police Say A child under the age of 13 was sexually assaulted by a 77-year-old man, authorities announced on Tuesday, February 14, 2023. Roscoe M. Geib, of Mount Joy, " inappropriate comments and touched the victim in an inappropriate manner," while the young child was in his care, borough police allege.  Following an investigation, Geib was charged with indecent assault, unlawful contact with a minor, and corruption of minors police say and court documents confirm. Michele Young Housley Of Elizabethtown Dies, 48 Michele Young-Housley of Elizabethtown died on March 9 surrounded by her family at Hospice and Community Care in Mount Joy.  She was 48 years old. More than $4,700 had been raised on a GoFundMe launched in 2016 for Michele, who was battling cancer then for the second time. Born in Lancaster, Michele was affectionately known as "Chel" and graduated from  Elizabethtown Area High School in 1990, according to her obituary.
