Active Fire Near Township Building In Central PA (Photos) A fire has broken out across the street from a township-owned building.  The fire was reported as active shortly before 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 3, 2023, by Lower Windsor Township police. The fire is on Hakes Hollow Road near Craley Road.  The billowing smoke was spotted by township employees who say the fire is at a structure across the street from the Lower Windsor Township building.  There is no word of any injures. The public has been asked to avoid the area.

Frey, 39, of York, entered a home "without permission of the homeowners," in the 400 block of Pleasant Hill Road on Monday, Mar. 21 at approximately 5 a.m., Lower Windsor Township police say. Sports Bike Rider Leads Police Pursuit In Central PA, Police Say Police were led on a pursuit of a sports bike without a license plate last Tuesday, according to Lower Windsor Township police. Travis Ty Reachard, 28, of Wrightsville, spoke with a police officer who was attempting to stop him but refused to pull over for a routine traffic stop. The sports bike did not have a registration plate and the officer had knowledge that Reachard had a suspended license. The officer pursued the motor bike for a short distance but then discontinued.
