Over 42,000 Pennsylvanians are under mandatory water conservation order after an oil slick was spotted and an odor was emanating from Condoguient Creek. Pennsylvania American Water issued the order on Oct. 17 after the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection opened an investigation into the "reports of a petroleum-type odor and sheen on the Conodoguinet Creek in Silver Spring Township," as stated in a release by the PA DEP. 15 Men Caught In Undercover Sting At Cumberland County Hotel
Fifteen men from across Pennsylvania, North Carolina, and Colorado have been arrested while allegedly trying to meet with prostitutes at a Central Pennsylvania hotel. An additional arrest has been announced in a large-scale sex trafficking ring run out of Pennsylvania massage parlors, authorities said. A "police incident' halted all traffic on Interstate 83 in Central Pennsylvania, authorities announced on Thursday night. The police incident on I-83 North happened in the northbound lane of South Bridge around 9:15 p.m. on Aug. 24, according to PennDOT spokesperson Fritzi Schreffler. The area closed was from Exit 41B for Lemoyne to Exit 43 for Capitol/2nd Street. All southbound lanes were briefly closed as well but were reopened before 9 p.m., according to 511PA.
