US Census Bureau: Pennsylvania Loses One Electoral College Vote
For the tenth consecutive decade Pennsylvania’s population has declined, forcing the state to lose a US House seat and an electoral college vote. Pennsylvania has been a battleground state in recent presidential elections but it will now have only 19 votes in the electoral college. PA will maintain its ranking as the state with the sixth highest number of electoral college votes between Ohio and Illinois. Harrisburg Rolls Out Pothole Reporting Website
It's been a long and bumpy road, but Harrisburg is taking a proactive approach to identifying and fixing its potholes. The city on Thursday rolled out a new website, compatible with computers and mobile devices, so drivers can report potholes from anywhere -- but not while driving, of course. “This new tool developed by our IT team will make it easier for residents to notify the City about potholes in their neighborhoods,” said Mayor Eric Papenfuse.
