Newville Manager Fred Andrew Potzer Charged With Felonies
The Newville Borough Manager for over 28 years has been charged with numerous felonies for allegedly criminally violating Pennsylvania finance laws, Cumberland County District Attorney Seán M. McCormack announced on Tuesday afternoon. Fred Andrew Potzer is accused of "financial gymnastics" by manipulating the Newville Borough books to use funds from the Newville Water and Sewer Authority to pay for local projects, the DA explained at a press conference.
