Head-On Collision Kills Mercersburg Solider, Chambersburg Man, State Police Say A head-on collision has killed two people and sent another to an area hospital, according to a release by Pennsylvania state police on Tuesday, Feb. 7. Richard E. Cowan, 69, of Chambersburg, drove his 2015 Ford Transit over the center turning lane in the 8100 block of US 30/Lincoln Way slamming head-on into a 2019 Hyundai Accent, driven Maura J. Former Naval Support Activity Supervisor Pleaded Guilty To Assaulting Subordinate, Usdoj Says A former supervisor at Naval Support Activity in Mechanicsburg has pleaded guilty to assaulting a subordinate employee, according to the US Department of Justice. Jared Heisey, 30, of Etters, York County, admitted to assaulting a subordinate employee during work hours on Aug. 9, 2019, according to a release by The United States Attorney's Office for the Middle District of Pennsylvania. Heisey previously worked as a Defense Logistics Agency supervisor at NSA, according to officials.
