Man Found Shot To Death On Eastern Pennsylvania Porch ID'd: Police A man has been identified after being found shot dead outside a home in Chester County on Friday, Oct. 20, authorities announced on Saturday. Lawrence Hurd, 41, was shot multiple times and left for dead on the porch of a home located at 139 Rosemont Avenue in Coatesville, the police said.  The shooting happened approximately 20 minutes before midnight, the police explained.  When Medics arrived at the scene, Hurd was pronounced dead.  The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is asked to call the City of Coatesville Police Department at 610-384-2300 or the Ch…

Tips Lead To Arrests Of Duo In Coatesville, Heroin, Crack Cocaine Seized Anonymous tips about nuisance neighbors led to the arrests of two people in Coatesville, authorities said.  Officers then launched a drug trafficking investigation into a home on the 100 block of Rosemont Avenue in June, Coatesville police said. After obtaining a search warrant, investigators raided the home on Thursday, Sept. 1, and discovered Renee Bloom, 43, and Danielle Starck, 58, among heroin, crack cocaine, and other drug paraphenalila, they said. Kenneth Cole, 43, was found guilty of endangering the welfare of a child and resisting arrest, according to the Chester County District Attorney's Office.
