Tatiana Vargas Murder: Abiud Torres Arrested, Marshals Say
The man accused of killing a South Philadelphia mother late last year was arrested by US Marshals in Kensington early Thursday, Feb. 22, according to authorities. Abiud Torres was taken into custody without incident on the 1800 block of Hart Lane around 6:45 a.m., said Marshal Robert Clark. Investigators had suspected Torres, 20, of "frequenting multiple abandoned residences in the Kensington section of Philadelphia" before tracking him down on Hart Lane Thursday morning, Clark said.
