73 Chihuahuas Rescued From Philadelphia Home Rescuers are seeking new homes for dozens of dogs who were living in "unsanitary conditions" in a Philadelphia rowhome, animal welfare advocates say.  Police visited a home on the 1900 block of North Orianna Street in Kensington late on Thursday, May 11 for an unrelated matter when they discovered "approximately 40" dogs living at the property, said the Pennsylvania Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (PSPCA) in a release.  Police contacted PSPCA, who said they counted nearly double that number in their search of the home. Police In Northampton County Seek Home For Lost Dog Named After The Way She Walks Police in Northampton County are seeking a good home for a dog who has not been claimed in a week. The 50-pound dog is believed to be a treeing walker coonhound and was found on Dec. 11, on the 2500 block of Burrowes Street, Palmer police said. She is likely less than two years old, very friendly and high-energy. The pup was named "Prancer," partly for the holiday season, but more so her walking style, police said.
