‘Bittersweet Occasion:’ Popular Slate Belt Ice Cream Parlor Opening Under New Ownership
A popular Northampton County ice cream parlor will soon open under new ownership. Emmy Lou’s Ice Cream Cafe on E. Main Street in Pen Argyl has been sold, owner Emily Beam wrote in a Thursday Facebook post. “It’s a bittersweet occasion, but I’m ready to move on to the next chapter of my life,” Beam wrote.
