PA Man Chased Victim With Lawnmower Blade, Authorities Say
Police in Ambler Borough say an area resident chased down another while brandishing a lawnmower blade as a weapon. Evergicio Gonzalez, 34, is charged with aggravated assault, simple assault, and possessing an instrument of crime, the department said. A woman called 911 around 9 p.m. on Sept. 18 and told dispatchers Gonzalez was armed with a machete and threatening to kill her husband, according to police. A Pennsylvania man will be extradited to Florida after threatening to kill a county sheriff in a message to a television show. Jason E. Officers Injured In Philadelphia Crash: Report
Two Philadelphia police officers and one other driver were hurt in an accident early Wednesday morning, NBC reports. A high school student in Allentown was found to have a loaded handgun in his possession on Monday morning, Sept. 25, according to city police.
