Woman Found Dead Inside Harrisburg Home, Police Say
A woman was found dead inside a Harrisburg home Tuesday night, authorities said. Officers were called to the 1800 block of Boas Street around 9 p.m. on a report of a domestic incident involving a gun, Harrisburg police said. Once inside, they found the woman's body with multiple gunshot wounds. Police have a person of interest in custody for questioning. The investigation is ongoing. Man Shot Dead In Central PA Street, Police Say
A man was found shot dead on a central Pennsylvania street on Tuesday night, according to a release by police. Harrisburg Police were called to a reported shooting of a person in the area of Evergreen and Swatara streets in Harrisburg around 11:40 p.m., according to the release. Upon arrival police found a man, "suffering from an apparent gunshot wound(s). The male was pronounced deceased at the scene," as stated in the release. An investigation into the incident is ongoing. A 14-year-old boy was shot dead in Harrisburg last week and now his community is rallying to support his family during this difficult time. A man wanted for a July shooting of a Harrisburg man was arrested by members of the Harrisburg Police and United States Marshals Service. Kuami Wright, 38, of Harrisburg, was arrested on an active criminal warrant in connection to a shooting on July 11, according to Harrisburg bureau of police. A SWAT team was called to a shooting in Harrisburg earlier this month, now police have identified their lead suspect. A boy was shot walking down a Harrisburg Street on Sunday afternoon. A mom was in custody and another man sought by police after two children ingested heroin and fentanyl, authorities in Harrisburg said. A man riding on a motorized bicycle has died following a car crash in Harrisburg, according to area police.
