Toddler Accidentally Killed By Grandmother Who Adopted Her In Philly Parking Lot: Police
A 3-year-old girl was accidentally struck and killed by her 46-year-old grandmother in Philadelphia Friday evening, news reports say. The woman was trying to park on the 4000 block of Aldine Street when the girl came out to greet her, and was struck around 8 p.m., 6abc says citing cty police. A Pennsylvania toddler was found safe in Chicago, Illinois after being abducted by her birth mother, multiple media outlets are reporting citing the police. The 3-year-old girl was taken by her birth mother from her grandmother’s home on Chaske Street in Penn Hills, reports KDKA citing the Penn Hills police chief. 3-Year-Old Girl Killed In Accidental Shooting, Allegheny County Police Say
A 3-year-old girl died in what police are calling an accidental shooting in a western Pennsylvania apartment, according to Allegheny County police. Monroeville police were called to Cambridge Square Apartments around 9 p.m. on Friday, where the toddler was found with a single gunshot wound to the head, authorities said. The county medical examiner's office ruled the death a homicide. "There is strong evidence that [another child] accidentally shot the victim while handling an unsecured firearm inside the residence," according to a statement.
