Chester County Man On 'Road To Recovery' After Being Struck By Falling Tree: Fund
Neighbors and community members are collecting donations for Will Dusinberre, according to organizers on GoFundMe. Dusinberre, a Chester County resident working a summer job on a Wyoming ranch, was injured during a hiking trip in Montana on June 28, according to the fundraiser. "While sitting by a river, enjoying the sun and reading books, a gust of wind caused a tree to fall on Will and two friends at the base of Porcupine Falls," wrote organizer Ann Demilio of Devon. Two firefighters and a resident were injured, and a woman was paralyzed following a fire in Steelton on Saturday, officials and a fun launched to help the woman explained. The fire broke out at a duplex converted into apartments in the 100 block of North Second Street around 5 a.m. on May 11, Dauphin County emergency dispatch. Woman Struck By Bullets Playing Kickball At Philly Rec Center Facing Long Road To Recovery
Support is surging for a 35-year-old woman struck by bullets in a shooting at a Philadelphia recreation center earlier this month. Amanda Lyons was shot in the back while playing kickball at the Hancock Rec Center in Kensington around 9:15 p.m. last Wednesday. Meanwhile, a 16-year-old boy died in the incident.
