Jeep Crashes Through Central PA Fence, Into Stone Wall In Upper Allen, Injuring Woman A Chambersburg woman was injured after losing control of her Jeep Compass on a slick winter roadway and crashing through a fence into a stone wall, Upper Allen police said on Monday, Jan. 6. The crash occurred at about 8:38 a.m. along the 1000 block of West Lisburn Road, according to police. Investigators determined the driver was traveling too fast for the icy conditions, causing the Jeep to leave the roadway, crash through a fence, and strike a stone wall. Head-On Crash Sends Two To Hospital In Upper Allen Township: Police A head-on collision on South Market Street in Upper Allen Township sent two drivers to the hospital, Upper Allen Police said on Sunday, Dec. 29. Officers were called to the crash at the overpass above the Pennsylvania Turnpike on Saturday, Dec. 28, where they found one of the drivers had managed to extricate themselves from their vehicle despite initial reports of entrapment, police said.
