Pediatric Nurse's Son Accused Of Stabbing Her To Death In PA Will Face Trial: DA The son of a pediatric nurse who is accused of brutally stabbing her to death in the street outside her home and discarded the knife in a neighbor's yard. He will stand trial after a preliminary hearing on Thursday, Dec. 19. Brian Rebold, 38, was arrested on Sunday, Aug. 4 after calling 911 to report the deadly stabbing on Liberty Avenue in Arnold. During the hearing, a Westmoreland County Detective and an Arnold Police Officer testified, and the 911 call was played in court. 5 Dead In Allegheny County Home Explosion The death toll has risen to five in a home explosion in an area outside of Pittsburgh this weekend. The home explosion at at 141 Rustic Ridge Dr. in Plum (Allegheny County) Saturday morning, Aug. 12, destroyed three houses, with four adults and one adolescent dead as of Sunday afternoon, county officials said. Three more victims were taken to area hospitals: Two were in stable condition and have since been released from the hospital, and the third individual remains critical.
