Multiple People Injured In Explosion During Training Exercise At SCI Phoenix Prison: Officials Multiple people were injured Thursday, Sept. 15 when an explosion occurred during a training exercise at SCI Phoenix prison in Montgomery County, officials said. The accident happened around 9:50 a.m. at the prison in Skippack Township, a county spokesperson confirmed to Daily Voice. Members of the county bomb squad were installing an explosive device for a later training exercise when it exploded prematurely, according to 6abc.
