90-Year-Old Man Struck By Vehicle In Montco: Police
A 90-year-old man was critically injured after being struck by a vehicle early Thursday morning, Dec. 19, in Plymouth Meeting, according to police. The incident occurred around 5:51 a.m. on Germantown Pike, west of Walton Road, Plymouth Township Police said. Officers and EMS arrived to find the man in the eastbound lanes. He was transported to Jefferson Abington Hospital by Plymouth Community Ambulance Association and is listed in critical but stable condition, authorities said. An emotionally disturbed woman was arrested without incident after pointing a gun and screaming at several customers in a Montgomery County guitar store, according to police. The woman pointed her gun at the heads of multiple customers while screaming incoherently at the Guitar Center in the Metroplex Shopping Center, 2620 Chemical Road, the Plymouth Township Police Department said. A Philadelphia man is wanted by police in Montgomery County for stabbing a victim outside a Wawa store on Saturday, Oct. 8. It all went down around 8:50 a.m. at the store located on the 1300 block of E. Ridge Pike in Plymouth Township, local police said. Ivan Davonte Stephens Jr., 29, stabbed another man multiple times in the arm, back, and chest during an argument in the parking lot, according to police. One person was killed and three others were injured in a fiery crash Tuesday, March 22 in Plymouth Township, authorities said. Three vehicles were involved in the crash that ended in flames at the intersection of Germantown Pike and Virginia Road around 8:50 a.m., Plymouth Township police said. Stuck Driver Freed From 2 Car Crash In Plymouth Township
A stuck driver was rescued from a two-car wreck in Plymouth Township (Montgomery County) on Wendesday afternoon, authorities said. Rescue crews were dispatched to the 1200 block of E. Ridge Pike in front of the Enterprise Rental Car around 3:40 p.m. after the Battalion Chief in the area saw a two-car head-on collision, according to Plymouth Township Fire Company. Crews were able to free the trapped driver 20 minutes after arrival, officials said. The driver was treated by EMS at the scene. The Plymouth Township Police Department is investigating the incident.
