While the $1.08 Billion jackpot went to a player in California, a number of Pennsylvanians won prizes of some amount in the Wednesday, July 19 drawing for Powerball — including two in greater Philadelphia, state officials say. The largest prize in the state went to a player at the DuBois Walmart in Clearfield County, and the store will receive a $10,000 bonus for selling the lucky ticket, said the Pennsylvania Lottery. A group of dirt bikers are seen circling a group of Philadelphia police officers and throwing objects at their squad cars in a video released by the police department on Tuesday. Oct. 18. Search Launched For Warrington Burglar Who Smashed Gas Station Store Window, Police Say
A search has been launched for a burglar in Warrington, authorities announced. The man was caught on surveillance breaking the front window of a Lukoil gas station store on Easton Road and stealing cigarettes and drinks around midnight on Friday, March 18, Warrington Township police said. He then ran south on Easton Road, carrying a plastic Ross bag. The suspect is a white male wearing dark pants, a gray shirt, a maroon hoodie, and a dark jacket with gray sneakers, police said.
