The funeral details for a 34-year-old father of two young children who was killed in a crash have been released. Ryan Peck, 34, of Forks Township, died from blunt force injuries following a crash near the 5600 Block of Kesslersville Road in Plainfield Township on Aug. 15, as Daily Voice previously reported. Police ID Pair Plaguing PA Neighborhood With Explosions For Weeks, Police Say
Authorities in Northampton County say they have identified the pair responsible for a series of explosions in the area. Slate Belt Regional police were called to East Laurel Avenue in Pen Argyl at 3 a.m. on Saturday, March 18 after residents reported hearing a large explosion, the department said in a release. The man found moaning and dangling from a power line tower in Pennsylvania Friday, Nov. 4 was trying to steal wire when he suffered an electric shock so powerful that it threw him from his perch, authorities told various news outlets. The man was cutting 100 feet of wire from the top of a tower that he'd secured himself to in Plainfield Township, when he suffered an arc that traveled across his upper body, throwing him about 20 or 30 feet down the pole, police told WFMZ. A man secretly holding a grudge was also concealing a handgun when he showed up at another man’s workplace and fired the weapon over a dispute, Slate Belt Police said. A homeowner was attacked and a suspect arrested following a broad daylight home break-in, authorities in the Slate Belt confirmed. Robert Shane Badua, 35, is accused of breaking into a home on the 500 block of Norman Road in Plainfield Township shortly before 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, March 20, Slate Belt Regional Police said. A police interceptor car was stolen from a Lehigh Valley area auto shop Wednesday night, authorities said. The car — pictured above — was stolen from Kim Cesare's Auto Sales in Pen Argyl around 9:15 p.m., Slate Belt Regional Police said. A 21-year-old Lehigh Valley woman was apprehended after assaulting her roommate, stealing her iPhone, and fleeing, authorities said. Officers responding to the assault report on the 200 block of S. Robinson Avenue in Pen Argyl met with the victim, who stated that her roommate — Katherine S. A 27-year-old woman is accused of stealing nearly $10,000 from a Lehigh Valley food store while working as an employee, authorities said. Julie Teresa Rose Smith stole a total of $9,514 while working at Penn Jersey Food Mart in Pen Argyl between Monday, Nov. 22 and Monday, Dec. 27 of 2021, Slate Belt Regional Police said. Four workers at a Lehigh Valley electric company worked together for months to steal nearly $40,000 worth of copper from their employer and sell it to two different scrapyards for a massive profit, authorities said. Police are seeking the public’s help locating a man who brutally assaulted a victim in Northampton County. Darshawn K. Hallett, 37, was identified on surveillance footage striking another man in the back of the head with a stainless steel water bottle at Merakey on Sullivan Trail in Nazareth shortly before 3:25 p.m. on Dec. 15, Slate Belt Regional Police said. Alert Issued For Missing Northampton County Boy, 14
An alert was issued Thursday for a missing Northampton County boy believed to have run away from home. Juelz Stuckey, 14, was last seen near Weona Park in Pen Argyl on Oct. 20, Slate Belt Regional Police said. Stuckey stands 5 feet 4 inches tall, weighs 125 pounds and has black hair and brown eyes, police said. He may also be carrying a red backpack.
