Nereida Rodriguez, 28 Of Washington, PA, Killed: Coroner A 28-year-old woman was found struck dead, the Lancaster County Coroner's Office announced on Tuesday morning. Nereida Rodriguez, of the 300 block of Duncan Avenue Washington, Pennsylvania, was found struck dead in the 3000 block of Lincoln Highway East in Leacock Township, Paradise on May 14, Deputy Chief Coroner Eric Bieber detailed in the release. A coroner was called to the scene shortly at 1:04 a.m. Rodriguez suffered traumatic injuries from the incident, and she was declared deceased around 1:33 a.m. Her official cause and manner of death are pending the results of the autopsy. Amish Buggy Driver Cited For Crash: Pennsylvania State Police An Amish man has been cited after he was speeding and lost control of his horse, Pennsylvania State Police announced in a release on Nov. 8. Police ID Speeding Driver, 25, Killed In Head-On Crash With Tour Bus In Lancaster County Police have identified the 25-year-old sedan driver who died in a crash with a tour bus in Lancaster County early Thursday, Oct. 26. Louis Marotto, of New Holland, was heading north on Hollander Road at a high rate of speed in a Nissan sedan when she swerved into the southbound lane and struck the tour bus head-on, around 2:50 a.m. in Leacock Township on Thursday, Oct. 26, Pennsylvania State Police said. The tour bus operator was not injured, PSP said, and Marotto was pronounced dead at 4:05 a.m., of multiple blunt force trauma, the coroner said.

Driver Killed In Head-On Crash With Tour Bus In Lancaster County: State Police A 25-year-old is dead after colliding with a tour bus in Leacock Township early Thursday morning, Oct.26, according to state police.  It happened just before 3 a.m., authorities said.  The driver was headed north on North Hollander Road near the intersection with Yost Road when they lost control of their Nissan sedan and entered the southbound lane, troopers said. The driver, who police did not identify, was pronounced dead at the scene. The bus driver was unharmed, they added.  The crash remains under investigation.

The first crews to arrive on the scene saw fire spreading from a garage to the home, according radio communication. As of 4 p.m. a State Police Fire Marshal was called to the scene, according to the dispatch webcad. Emergency Dispatch Service operators were unreachable at the time of reporting.
