Human Remains Found At Propane Explosion At Bird-In-Hand Inn "Human remains" have been found at the scene of an explosion at a Lancaster County inn, authorities explained on Monday morning.  The call about the fire first came into Lancaster County Wide Communications at 2:33 a.m. on Dec. 18. Emergency crews arrived at Bird-In-Hand Family Inn on 2740 Old Philadelphia Pike and discovered the heavily involved fire through the roof. Sheets were quickly tied together and used as ladders as guests climb out of the Amish View Inn and Suites in the 3100 block of Philadelphia Pike in Leacock Township, at 2:40 a.m. fire officials say.
