Mother Charged In Fatal Collegeville Shooting Of 12-Year-Old Daughter By Son
A mother has been charged in connection to the fatal shooting of her 12-year-old daughter by her son in a Collegeville home earlier this month, authorities said. Daisy Vasquez, 31, turned herself in to police Monday and is facing third-degree felony charges of endangering welfare of children, possession of a firearm by a minor–responsibility of adult, and hindering apprehension or prosecution, and other related charges, according to Montgomery County District Attorney Kevin R. A 13-year-old boy shot and killed his younger sister in their family's Collegeville home after his mom asked him to get a handgun from her car, authorities announced. Jah’sir Vasquez was charged with third-degree murder in the deadly shooting of 12-year-old Jasiyah Vasquez, Montgomery County District Attorney Kevin R. A Pennsylvania gunman has been arrested weeks after sending a threatening email to an executive and firing shots at the Montgomery County Democratic Committee Office on Jan. 20, authorities announced.
