Missing Woman Last Seen In Philadelphia, Investigators Say A 69-year-old woman is missing in Center City Philadelphia, city police said in a release.  Virginia Graganella was last spotted on the unit block of North Front Street early Tuesday, July 16, authorities said. She is 5-foot with a thin build and gray hair and was wearing oval, purple glasses, according to PPD.  Anyone who spots her is asked to call Central Detectives at 215-686-3093.

Man Struck Dead By Amtrak In Philly, Police Say A man was struck dead by an Amtrak in Philadelphia on Saturday night, Philadelphia Police announced on July 14.  The "John Doe" was struck by the Amtrak along the tracks at Harbison Avenue and Bridge Street in Mayfair at 9:43 p.m. on July 13, PPD detailed in the release.  The striking train, Engine 52, had been heading south, according to the police. The unidentified man was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash at 10:13 p.m. Additional information was unavailable at the time of publishing. Head-On Crash Kills Two Drivers In North Philadelphia: Police Two men have died after a car crash in Philadelphia early Tuesday morning, June 25, city police say.  Authorities said it happened around 1:40 a.m. A southbound sedan on North Broad Street collided head-on with a northbound Toyota Rav 4 near West Hunting Park Avenue, according to PPD.  Both drivers were pronounced dead at the scene, officials said. Neither man was identified but police said the driver of the Toyota was 46 years old.  An investigation is ongoing.

Police Name ATV Rider Killed In Philadelphia Crash Authorities have identified the ATV rider who died in a North Philadelphia wreck on Thursday night, June 13.  Michael Anthony Pembleton was headed south on Broad Street when his ATV hit the passenger side of a Subaru near Westmoreland Street, PPD said.  Pembleton, 35, was taken to Temple University Hospital and pronounced dead around 9 p.m., city police said.  The driver of the Subaru remained on the scene and no arrests have been made, officials said. An investigation is underway.

Thieves Snag $35K Cash From South Philadelphia Driver: Police A man was robbed of $35,000 early Thursday morning, June 13, city police say.  The victim, a store owner, was driving near Oregon Avenue and 19th Street when a blue Chevrolet pickup truck "tapped the rear of his car," authorities said.  He got out of his vehicle and three men emerged from the Chevy.
