A Middletown man has been found guilty in a bizarre kidnapping case, the Dauphin County District Attorney's Office announced on Wednesday, Aug. 21.
Bryan Edwin Perry, Jr., 37, was convicted of kidnapping, aggravated assault, intimidation of a witness, strangulation, and other charges on August 14, according to the DA's release. The conviction comes following a three-day trial.

A man who intimidated a witness and a man who repeatedly raped a six-year-old girl were both found unresponsive in their cells and have died, the Pennsylvania Department of Corrections tells Daily Voice.
Robert Dale Williams, 40, of Millersville, was found unresponsive inside his cell at the state correctional institutional Rockview in Benner Township on Friday, March 3, 2023, and Andrew Yuhas, 61, of Wilkes-Barre, was also found the same way in his cell the following Monday, March 6, according to two separate statements from the DOC.

A Philadelphia man who assaulted, threatened, and harassed his ex-girlfriend, even while he was imprisoned, was sentenced to 16 ½ to 35 years in state prison, authorities said.
Steven Jeffrey Castner, 41, was convicted by a Bucks County jury in June on two counts each of intimidation of a witness and stalking and one count of attempted burglary, criminal trespassing, terroristic threats, and simple assault, according to the Bucks County District Attorney's Office.
