'Credible' Threat Prompts Restrictions At

An "external threat" received by Lehigh Career and Technical Institute administrators led to restrictions on campus on Tuesday, March 12, according to school officials. LCTI did not describe the threat but said state police found it "credible." Movement was restricted on campus until all high school students were dismissed at 3:17 p.m., administrators said in a message on their website. Evening adult education classes will continue as scheduled. Upper Macungie police have arrested a suspect in connection with the incident, LCTI said.

Mom On Drugs Injures 3-Week-Old Infant During 'Incident' In Enola: Police
A 35-year-old mom with criminal records in five Pennsylvania counties is behind bars again for allegedly injuring her 3-week-old infant while high on drugs, East Pennsboro Police explained in a release on Wednesday, Feb. 21. Chynna-Blu Nagle, originally of Milroy but most recently of Enola, was found "on controlled substances and was attempting to care for her 3-week-old child," at 7:37 a.m. on Feb. 15, as stated in the police release. Barricaded Felon Caused Police Incident In Columbia Borough: Authorities
A police incident closed a street and put two schools in Columbia Borough into lockdowns on Friday, police announced. The incident began when police attempted to issue a warrant for 40-year-old Charles Nathan Harris for a warrant related to a weapons violation, the police explained on the evening of Jan. 5. Court records show the weapons offense happened in Mount Joy Borough on Jan. 18, 2023, and he forfeited his bail on Dec. 29, 2023.
