A 67-year-old man from Buckingham Township, Bucks County, died after a crash along Route 33 in Northampton County, the coroner’s office announced on Tuesday, Nov. 26.
Jerome J. Ozovek suffered a medical event, leading to the crash on the northbound off-ramp to Main Street at the Tatamy Exit in Palmer Township on Monday, Nov. 25, according to Northampton County Coroner Zachary Lysek.
Ozovek was transported to St. Luke’s Hospital, Anderson Campus in Bethlehem Township, where he was pronounced dead. The coroner ruled the cause of death as natural due to a medical event.

One man is in custody after a police chase in Palmer Township on Sunday, May 12, authorities say.
Joshua E. Ewell, 25, is charged with receiving stolen property, fleeing arrest, reckless endangerment, and related counts, said township police.
Around 8:45 p.m., officers spotted Ewell in a grey Kia Soul that had been reported stolen out of Easton, authorities said. He fled when they tried to pull him over, leading police on a chase through the township's Old Orchard section, according to officials.

David Walton, 59, was heading east on the highway when he came across traffic congestion related to a separate accident around 4 p.m., township police said.

Joseph R. Hoagland, 68, suffered a medical emergency that led to a wreck in the parking lot of the William Penn Highway Weis, said the Northampton County Coroner's Office.

A team of state, local, and federal law enforcement agents descended on an Easton home early Friday, seizing drugs and firearms, according to authorities.
City police, joined by Palmer Township police, state troopers, the Northampton County Drug Task Force, and the Drug Enforcement Administration executed a search warrant at a property on the 100 block of North 8th Street at about 8 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 17, officials said in a release.

A Northampton County driver was parked in his own driveway when a group of men stole his car at gunpoint late on Tuesday, Feb. 7, authorities say.
The victim, a 22-year-old man, was outside his house on York Place in Palmer Township at about 7:30 p.m. when three people forced their way into his car, police said in a statement.
