Amish Farm Has Two-Alarm Barn Fire: Authorities An Amish barn had a blaze burning through it early Thursday morning, Oct. 10, according to Lancaster County Wide Communications.  The call to the fire at the farm located in the 5900 block of Meadville Road in Salisbury Township, Narvon came into LCWC at 3:24 a.m., according to the supervisor. The area of Meadeville and Red Hill roads were closed as fire crews battled the blaze.   The barn stored hay, not animals, so no humans or animals were injured. Authorities: Narvon Man ID'd As Arsonist Who Caused Massive East Earl Barn Fire An 18-year-old man was charged with starting an April barn fire totaling more than $500,000 in damages, authorities in Lancaster County said. East Earl Township police on June 25 got an anonymous tip that Jonathan Lynn Yoder, of Narvon, was responsible for starting the April 8 fire, authorities said. The following day, he admitted to setting fire to the barn on the 200 block of Bridgeville Road around 2:25 a.m., authorities said.
