Tiffany Taylor, a New Jersey woman whose testimony helped convict a serial killer she narrowly escaped while handcuffed, has died at age 44.
Taylor died in her sleep, according to her mother, Lola Acevedo, who shared the news in a GoFundMe campaign.
Raised in Jersey City's housing projects, Taylor eventually turned to sex work and robbing men. A car engulfed in flames rolled backward, sideswiped another vehicle, and crashed into a school bus in the Harrisburg area on Thursday evening, Oct. 15, police said.
The crash happened around 5:30 p.m. on North Progress Avenue just south of Garrison Avenue in Susquehanna Township, according to the Susquehanna Township Police Department.
