Coroner IDs Woman Killed By Train In Emmaus A 68-year-old Emmaus woman died after being struck by a train on Wednesday, July 31, according to the Lehigh County Coroner's Office.  Teresa G. Bell was hit while trying to cross the railroad tracks on South Third Street around 1:15 p.m., officials believe. 16-Year-Old Teen Killed In Lehigh County Crash ID'd: Coroner Officials have identified the 16-year-old student killed in a car crash near Emmaus High School on Tuesday afternoon, Oct. 31.  (Note: This story has been updated to include information from Emmaus police.) Edwin Cortes, of Allentown, died of blunt force injuries to the torso due to a motor vehicle collision, said the Lehigh County Coroner's Office. His manner of death was ruled accidental.  Cortes was a back-seat passenger in a two-car crash near North Street and Cedar Crest Boulevard around 3 p.m., authorities said previously.
