A man was taken to Lehigh Valley Hospital after being shot with what is believed to be a BB gun, according to the Hazleton City Police Department. Officers were dispatched to the area of West 10th and North Locust streets for a gunshot victim Friday, Sept. 27, police said. However, when they arrived the man who had been shot told them he'd been sitting outside when he felt a sharp pain in his right side. BB Gun 'Challenge' At Bucks Theater Prompts Police Warnings
Police in Bucks County are warning parents about the potentially dangerous "Orbeez challenge" after responding to an incident at a Warrington movie theater Monday night. Authorities were called to the Regal Cinema at 104 Easton Road just after 8:30 p.m. on Jan. 31 after receiving complaints of a guest with a BB gun, Warrington Township police said in a statement. On arrival, the manager told officers that two teen boys had walked into a theater and shot a BB gun at moviegoers during the film. Student Charged After Bringing BB Gun To Eddystone Elementary School
A child was charged Thursday, June 2, after they showed up to a Delaware County elementary school with a BB gun, authorities said. At the start of the school day, police were called to Eddystone Elementary School, where they confiscated the BB gun and identified the student accused of bringing it in, Eddystone police said. Police said the unidentified student was "charged accordingly," but did not specify those charges. No injuries were reported. A Clifton liquor store was robbed by four young city teens, one of whom displayed what turned out to be a BB gun, said authorities who took them into custody. The haul? A vape. The quartet entered Dante's Liquor & Wine on Van Houten Avenue shortly before 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, Detective Lt. Robert Bracken said. Shots Fired At Horse-Buggy, Pennsylvania State Police Say
Shots were fired upon a horse and buggy on Sunday night, according to Pennsylvania State Police. The buggy was being driven by a 25-year-old man in the area of White Horse and Amish roads in Salisbury Township, Lancaster County, around 10:35 p.m. A green Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo drove by and a passenger fired either an Airsoft or BB gun at the buggy. There were no injuries reported to the driver of the buggy or to the horse. The buggy was not damaged. The investigation into the shooting is ongoing.
