Lehigh Valley Man Wanted In Deadly Hit-Run Arrested, Police Say
A Lehigh Valley man wanted in a deadly hit-and-run crash in Allentown was arrested Wednesday, May 10, authorities said.
Jose Rainer Gonzalez-Roman, 29, was being held in Lehigh County Jail in lieu of $150,000 bail, Lehigh County District Attorney Jim Martin said in a joint release.
Gonalez-Roman in March was charged with homicide by vehicle, accidents involving death or personal injury while not properly licensed, reckless driving, and other related offenses in the Tuesday, Feb. 15 incident, DA Martin said alongside Allentown Police Chief Charles Roca.

Woman Stabs Man Multiple Times In Allentown, Police Say
A woman was arrested after stabbing a man over the weekend in Allentown, authorities said.
Eddydania Ortiz, 25, was charged with aggravated assault, simple possession, harassment, Allentown police said.
Officers responding to a local hospital around 9:35 a.m. Sunday, April 24, learned a man was stabbed multiple times, and is expected to recover, police said.
Police did not specify the circumstances surrounding the stabbing.
Ortiz was released on bond Monday, April 25, records show. Her preliminary hearing is scheduled for Monday, May 2.
Arrest Made In Cedar Beach Park Shooting
Allentown police have arrested a man they say opened fire in a local park Monday, Feb. 21.
Officers were called to Cedar Beach Park on a report of shots fired at around 5:30 p.m., police said.
There were no reported injuries, but shell casings were discovered at the scene, according to police.
An investigation later identified Carlos O. Medina, 25, of Allentown, as the suspected gunman.
He was charged with firearms not to be carried without a license, terroristic threats, simple assault by physical menace, reckless endangerment, and disorderly conduct.

Allentown Drug Bust Nets 8 Pounds Of Marijuana, Unregistered Gun, Cocaine, 1 Arrest: Police
A drug bust in Allentown turned up eight pounds of marijuana, 24 grams of cocaine, 10 grams of Fentanyl, an unregistered handgun, and one arrest, authorities said.
David Rivera, 34, was arrested after the items were seized from the home in the 300 Block of Law Street around noon Thursday, Allentown police said in a Friday release.
He was charged with possession with intent to deliver, simple possession, and possession of drug paraphernalia, police said.
Rivera was remanded to Lehigh County Jail in lieu of $50,000 bail, court records show.
