Former President Donald Trump is visiting Allentown on Tuesday, Oct. 29, and the Pennsylvania State Police are warning that there could be traffic disruptions. Area schools will also be impacted. The Trump campaign has Allentown's PPL Center listed as a rally stop on Tuesday, Oct. 29, according to the campaign's website. At the same time, state police are advising of potential traffic issues in the Allentown area on the same date, via a news release issued on Monday, Oct. 28. Bicyclist Injured In Crash With Pickup Truck In Lehigh Valley, Police Say
A 62-year-old bicyclist was injured in a crash with a pickup truck in the Lehigh Valley, authorities said. The wreck happened on Airport Road near Avenue A in Hanover Township around 2:45 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 18, Pennsylvania State Police said. A 2006 Dodge Ram 1500 driven by a 52-year-old man from Bath collied with a 2020 Terra Trike Maverick bike, police said. Allentown Woman Killed By Wrong-Way DUI Driver ID'd: Police
A 55-year-old woman was killed by a wrong-way, drunken driver in Lehigh County Friday, Sept. 2, according to Pennsylvania State Police. The 41-year-old Glenside man was heading north in the southbound lane on Airport Road in Hanover Township, when he struck Catherine Ann Neelon around 11 p.m., PSP Trooper Nathan Branosky said. Skeletal Remains Found Near Lehigh Shopping Center ID As 36-Year-Old NY Man
Skeletal remains found near a Lehigh County shopping center were identified as a 36-year-old New York man, PennLive reports. The remains of Bryan Geel Jr., 36, of Chatham, N.Y., was found March 8 in a wooded area in the 2100 block of Hoover Avenue in Hanover Township, the news outlet reports. The area where investigators found the body of Geel Jr. is also not far from a shopping center on Airport Road that houses a BJ's Wholesale Club, PennLive says.
