Box Truck Slams Into Pole In Front Of Walmart In Hudson Valley, Driver Injured A truck driver was injured after crashing into a pole in front of a Walmart in Rockland County.  The crash happened on Monday afternoon, July 27, when a box truck hit a utility pole on Route 59 in front of the Walmart in Airmont, according to Ramapo Police. Firefighters used specialized equipment to rescue the driver from the wreckage, police said. The driver sustained minor injuries.  Police did not say what caused the crash.
