NY Mom Jumps To Death With Her 2 Young Children At Niagara Falls
A days-long search for a New York mother and her two children was unsuccessful after police say the woman jumped with them off Niagara Falls.
State Police say that 33-year-old Chianti Means, Roman Rossman, age 9, and Mecca Means, 5 months old, crossed over the guardrail and went over the falls on Luna Island, which is attached to Goat Island, on Monday night, Oct. 28.
"The investigation has determined that this incident was intentional in nature, though the circumstances remain under investigation," according to New York State Police.
All three were residents of Niagara Falls.

A missing Hudson Valley man hiking the Appalachian Trail died after being caught in the current of a brook in Vermont, according to authorities.
Dutchess County resident Robert Kerker, age 67, of Rhinebeck, who had been missing since Sunday, July 9, was located about 2:30 p.m. Friday, July 28, by search crews along the Stony Brook in Stockbridge, Vermont, about 1.5 miles downstream from where the trail crossed the brook.

As first responders continue their search for any survivors of a 12-story condo that collapsed in Surfside, Florida, local residents are holding out hope that a former resident who is among the missing will be found.

The body of a man has been recovered after he fell into the Hudson River while walking along its edge with friends.
Orange County resident Maurice Pryce, age 35, fell into the water around 10 p.m., Wednesday, June 9, in the area of the Blue Pointe Restaurant, said City of Newburgh Police Lt. Joseph Burns.
When police arrived on the scene, several witnesses said they saw Pryce, of the City of Newburgh, fall off the dock into the water.

Woman Dies After Driving Vehicle Into Hudson River, Police Say

A woman has died after driving her vehicle into the Hudson River in Westchester.
The incident took place around 12:45 p.m., Friday, Oct. 18, near a riverside park in Verplanck, said Kieran O'Leary, spokesman for the Westchester County Police.
The woman was discovered in the car in about 10 feet of water by divers from Yorktown Heights, he said.
Due to a strong drift, it took searchers a while to located the vehicle.
Police are not sure how the car ended up in the water, and say the incident is under investigation, pending the outcome of an autopsy.…
